A dream born from science, a growing initiative for a sustainable future…

Unique BioTech was founded with the vision of addressing one of the world’s most critical agricultural challenges: Environmental stress, including drought, water scarcity and soil degradation.Years of proven academic knowledge merged with an entrepreneurial spirit, giving rise to a startup that brings science to the soil, to people and to the future. Today, we are a deep-tech company developing solutions that transform waste into value, enhance productivity and respect the environment. Our journey is not only about product development, but also an inspiration story where science, sustainability and women’s leadership come together.

How did it start?

2019

First Step

We launched our research efforts with the goal of developing biotechnology-based solutions for sustainable production. The groundwork for R&D on biostimulants that enhance plant resilience and biosurfactants derived from microorganisms was laid during this period.

2020

Establishment

Unique Biotechnology was established at Ege University Technology Park with the aim of combining academic knowledge with entrepreneurship. Our goal was to translate biotechnology research into practical agricultural and industrial applications.

2023

Initial Success and Partnership

The first field trials of the biostimulant technology we developed for the agricultural sector were successfully completed on cotton plants under drought conditions. During the same period, our laboratory research on the production of microbial biosurfactants gained momentum. By strengthening our partnership structure, we took the first strategic steps toward commercializing the technologies we have developed.

2024

Registration and Validation

We have completed the trademark registration process for our biostimulant and conducted the first customer validations for the solutions we have developed. This phase marked a significant milestone in translating our laboratory research into practical applications.

2025

New Projects

We have initiated our European patent application process.
With the “Project for the Production of Environmentally and Human-Friendly Biosurfactants for the Chemical Industry,” supported by TÜBİTAK TEYDEB, we have officially entered a new R&D phase.

2026

Transition to Industrial-Scale Production

We have moved our biostimulant technology, which has completed field validation, into the production phase. As part of this process, we have established a production infrastructure and initiated scale-up studies to enable the technology to be implemented on an industrial scale.

2027 - 2028

Global Journey

We aim to bring the biotechnology solutions we have developed for agriculture and industry to various markets. Our goal is to make production systems more environmentally friendly and resilient by promoting the widespread use of sustainable biological products.
